Street Cred Capital provides credit for mobile phone and accessory purchases largely in the subprime category. Street Cred has secured distribution of its offering with major carriers and retailers reaching an active customer base of well over 50 million consumers.
Pastime Foods sells licensed foods and beverages. Pastime has 16 SKUs actively selling in each of 8 Major League Baseball team markets with team branding. Dozens of more SKUs have been provisioned through its MLB license to distribute in all 28 MLB markets.
First Honey currently sells its line of certified Medical Grade Manuka Honey wound and skin care products across retailers, pharmacy chains and online in the United States. First Honey has also designed products for several large businesses and is expanding its portfolio of private label and branded products across skin care, food products and health and wellness. The use of Manuka honey in the US is growing at approximately 60% year over year and First Honey is already positioned to expand rapidly and to capture meaningful market share across various segments of the retail, medical and food industry spaces.
Mediacast Ventures creates, helps manage and scale Venture Programs for family offices and Corporate Ventures Programs for businesses focused on Media, Advertising, Retail and Consumer Facing Products and Services. The Mediacast team has both created and advised corporate venture programs for some of the largest companies in the world.
Mediacast Ventures was formed after closing a strategic round of capital led by leaders across private equity, media and entertainment. The team is currently working with several large entertainment and media companies and a private equity platform led by some of the most recognized athletes in the world as well as a large holding and acquisition platform.
MMI Corporate Ventures
Marketing Management Inc. (MMI) and Mediacast created a Corporate Venture platform integrated into the MMI Business Advisory Services Group. MMI is a 53 year old, well-known business in the retail and Consumer Packaged Goods space. MMI has six divisions focused on marketing, private labeling products for large grocers, a direct sales force managing relationships with grocery stores, pharmacies and specialty retailers across all of North America, and data analytics on the historic performance of over 600,000 retail SKUs to provide its customers and brands “Shelf Awareness” and intelligence at the store level. The Ventures platform is focused largely on non-cash equity and royalty based positions in exchange for combined services and the team’s ability to grow, manage and launch brands. The platform also benefits from a proprietary base of direct deals. The platform has already generated new portfolio holdings.
The team is co-developing Corporate Venture programs focused on larger companies that have launched and helped build the world’s most successful consumer brands. The programs are designed to capture equity positions in businesses in exchange for early launch and sales support to participate in the billions of dollars of enterprise value that our partners have been instrumental in helping create.
MED Venture Holdings
Mediacast created a Holding Company in partnership with Dr. Vivek Bansal and Dr. Sonia Badreshia-Bansal alongside medical professionals across plastic surgery, esthetics, dermatology, dentistry and other disciplines. MEDVH has a portfolio of companies focused on consumer facing products and technologies applicable to the elective medical procedures marketplace. Our partners are among the most successful in their fields of practice and have been responsible for helping companies launch and promote some of the most successful products and procedures in the world. Our thesis is that those pioneers paid for the privilege to adopt products, procedure and technologies that made billions for the companies while those most responsible for the success were unable to participate in the enterprise value. MEDVH enables our partners to capture equity in similarly promising emerging companies and products in non-cash equity exchanges for their early adoption and support, as well as proprietary investment opportunities.
